Using ASTM C856 petrographic methods, we examine hardened concrete samples to identify incorrect mix constituents, structural damage, and mechanisms causing cracking, such as Alkali-Silica Reactivity and Delayed Ettringite Formation. We also assess fire-damaged concrete in line with TR68 guidelines to support repair decisions and safety evaluations.

With much of Australia’s infrastructure aging rapidly, our forensic testing service is becoming increasingly valuable for structural engineers, asset managers, and concrete suppliers.
